Explore the charming of Vietnam in a very classical way from North to South, with only 2 week time you not only have a chance to see almost the interesting places, studying on our people & tradition, tasting specialities of our 3 different areas in the S-letter shape country, but also have some relaxed day on the white sand beach of Hoi An ancient town in the middle of the trip and in the middle on the country.

Tour Itinerary

Arriving at Noi Bai International Airport of Hanoi Capital. Drive through the fertile Red River Delta to reach your hotel in Hanoi city. Free time and overnight.

Day 2 Hanoi

Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Quarter including the Mausoleum, House-on-stilts, Museum called by his name. Visit Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) – the first university in Vietnam. Visit West Lake, and Tran Quoc Pagoda. View the Gothic stlye of Central Catholic Church and Hanoi Opera under shadow trees. The image of new and old buildings interposing with high shadow trees is a feature easiest to recognize in Hanoi and in many cities of Vietnam. Hob on a cyclo to petrol round the exciting Old Quarter of Hanoi and Hoan Kiem Lake – the heart of the city. Enjoy Water Puppet Show – Vietnamese traditional art evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3 Hanoi - Ninh Binh

Morning we drive Southward to Ninh Binh town to visit unspoiled villages and immense rice fields in the center of the Red river’s Delta. We visit relics of Hoa Lu ancient Kingdom (Dinh dynasty in 10th century). Visit Bich Dong Temple and get on a small boat to row along the small canal in the rice field to visit Tam Coc Caves considered as “Halong Bay on land”. Afternoon we cycle 6 km to Mua Mountain and admire the nice view with evergreen rice-fields, valley and mountains. Visit Mua Cave on the foot of  the mountain and if you wish, climb 486 steps to the mountain top to enjoy the spectacular view of Tam Coc cave and surrounding area. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 4 Ninh Binh - Halong - Junk Cruise

Morning transfer to Halong (170 km) to board on a nice junk cruise to take a Ha Long Bay cruise over 2,000 islands that just out of the sea to provide a spectacular natural environment. Boarding the Junk, a welcome drink is served before sitting down to a sumptuous seafood lunch in the dining room. We cruise through the magnificent bay of Ha Long that’s declared a World Heritage Site in 1994. There is opportunity to explore some of the beautiful and awesome grottoes with our guide on board. In the evening, dinner will be served on boat, after which we can experiment with some night fishing, before settling into our comfortable cabins for the night. Overnight on board.

Day 5 Halong - Hanoi - Hue

Enjoy our last morning on board to admire the spectacular view of the bay. A brunch is served on board as we cruise slowly back to the harbor, where we will check out and drive back to Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi airport for the evening flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6 Hue

Spend the whole day to visit one of World’s Heritage in Hue city – the former Kingdom of the 143 year Nguyen Dynasty. Boat trip on the Perfume River to visit a village along the river bank producing bronze-casting goods or conical hat. Continue by boat visit Royal Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang Mausoleum. In the afternoon we visit Imperial Citadel – the most important part of Hue city, a typical garden house and Dong Ba market. Enjoy Hue’s folk songs in the evening. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7 Hue - Danang - Hoi An

Visit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh King’s Mausoleum in the morning. Then drive to Hoi An via the imposing Hai Van mountain pass, a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. Stop over at Marble mountains and Danang City. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8 Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An

Visit Hoi An ancient town – another World’s Heritage site of a forgotten sea port from the 17th century. Visit the Chinese temple, Japanese bridge and an ancient house of mixing style from Vietnam, China and Japan. In the afternoon, visit another World’s Heritage site in the South West of Danang, My Son Hollyland – the religious center of Powerful Champa Kingdom from 6th to 16th century, with relics of temples, steles and carving statues showing a thriving life of people here at once. Overnight in Hoi An.

Free day on your own to enjoy the white sand beach. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 11 Hoi An - Danang - Hochiminh City

Transfer to airport for morning flight to Hochiminh City. Upon arrival, we visit the most typical places in the city: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, visit War Museum, China Town, Thien Hau Temple and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 12 Vam Sat & Can Gio Ecology Tour

Morning local tour guide and private car pick you up at hotel and transfer to Can Gio, a World’s Biosphere reserving area in the East of Hochiminh City. After crossing Binh Khanh Ferry we indult ourselves in an evergreen atmosphere of Mangrove Forest, small rivers and canals full of water coconut trees. First we take an excursion to Vam Sat ecological area by speed boat. Visit Bat Pond and enjoy Crab fishing. Visit Crocodile farm and passing typical bridges and discover a small part of the mangrove forest on foot. Once we reach Can Gio Tourist area we stroll along Can Gio Beach and enjoy lunch at Carrot restaurant. Next we visit Can Gio Museum and admire the cheerful Monkey flock living wildly in the area. We have chance to feed and play with them. Then we take an adventure boat cruise in Mangrove Forest to see Can Gio former Military base. Drive back to HCMC. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13 Hochiminh City - My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho

Morning we drive to My Tho town (80 km). Here we take a boat trip on Mekong River to get to the other side (Ben Tre land).  Sight-seeing fish farms, floating fish market along the Dragon island on the way. Through Xep canal in Ben Tre (land of coconuts) to See coconut collection set and how the locals make handicrafts from coconut trunk and shell. Enjoy seasonal fruits and listening to traditional music. Take the horse-cart on village path and stop at Mr Nam Ngo orchard, taste honey with tea or wine. See bees-breeding in wooden boxes under longans tree. Take rowing-boat along water palm creek. Lunch on an islet. Boat to see local people make coconut candy, taste candy (Special products of Ben Tre  province), then back to pier. Rejoin the car to Can Tho city, the central city of the Mekong Delta. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 14 Can Tho - Hochiminh City

Boat trip in early morning on Lower Branch of Mekong River to visit Cai Rang floating market and enjoy life activities of local people on the river. Visit Khmer pagoda and transfer back to Hochiminh City. Stop to see a Cao Dai Temple in Cai Be town and have lunch enroute. Overnight in Hochiminh City.

Day 15 Hochiminh City - Departure

Free on your own until transfer to airport for departure flight. End of the tour.
