Tour Itinerary

Water Puppets 2Welcome you at Noi Bai International Airport of Hanoi Capital. Drive through the fertile Red River Delta to reach your hotel in Hanoi city. Free at leisure. Mid-afternoon hop on a cyclo to petrol round the exciting Old Quarter of Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake – the heart of the city and Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy Water Puppet Show – Vietnamese traditional art evening. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 Ha Noi City Tour - Lao Cai

Hà Nội 4Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Quarter including the Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday), House-on-stilts and One-pillar pagoda located in the area – one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam built in the 11th century. Visit Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) – the first university in Vietnam. View the Gothic style of Central Catholic Church and Hanoi Opera under shadow trees. Continue to picturesque West Lake and the sixth century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda. Visit the most interesting one from numerous museums in Hanoi – Museum of Ethnology. Then drive back to Hanoi railway station for a night train to Lao Cai city. Stay overnight on the train (Superior Compartment with soft berth air-con, private cabin).

Day 3 Lao Cai - Sapa

CatCatVillage8_2Local guide will pick you at Lao Cai Railway Station in the early morning. Transfer (35km) to Sa Pa, the best resort of the Northern Vietnam with cool climate all year round, where includes hundreds of different minority people. Check-in hotel for relax and have breakfast. Visit Silver Waterfall on the swirling water. Trek to visit Ham Rong Mountain. Enjoy the landscape of the town and its surroundings with cool air for all year round. View the highest mountain in Vietnam – the Mt. Pansifan in the southwest of Sapa. In the afternoon, we take a trek to visit Cat Cat Villages of White Thai and Dzay Minority people. You can also see the Cat Cat Waterfall, located in a quiet side. Stay overnight in Sapa.

Day 4 Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van Homestay

sapa12Trek to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages of H’mong and Dzay Minority people. Ta Van is one of the most beautiful villages in the whole mountain region in a dream landscape. Stay overnight at homestay in Ta Van Village.

Day 5 Sapa - Bac Ha Sunday Market - Lao Cai

Bac-Ha-market2_2Check out and morning transfer down to Lao Cai and then transfer to Bac Ha (70km) to the famous Sunday market, the biggest market of ethnic minorities in the mountainous region. You take a trek to the H’mong village of Ban Pho, visit the castle Hoang A Tuong and explore the village. Then get on the car transferring back to Lao Cai. Relax at mini hotel in Laocai to take shower. Catch a train to return to Ha Noi. Stay overnight on the train (Superior Compartment with soft berth air-con, private cabin).

Day 6 Lao Cai - Ha Noi - Ninh Binh

Check in at mini hotel for relax and have breakfast, then transfer Southward to Ninh Binh town to visit unspoiled villages and immense rice fields in the center of the Red river’s Delta. We visit Bich Dong Temple and relics of Hoa Lu ancient Kingdom (Dinh dynasty in 10th century). Get on a small boat to row along the small canal in the rice field to visit Tam Coc Caves considered as “Halong Bay on land”. Pick up by car to visit Kenh Ga. Get on a small boat to travel along Kenh Ga canal to enjoy the beautiful landscape surround dings, and visit fish floating village. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 7 Ninh Binh - Ha Long Bay

Hạ Long 3aMoring drive to Halong city to visit one of Wonder of the world: Ha Long Bay. At noon, get on a nice junk cruise to take a Ha Long Bay cruise over 2,000 islands that just out of the sea to provide a spectacular natural environment. We cruise through the magnificent bay of Ha Long to explore some of the beautiful and awesome grottoes. Visit Sung Sot cave and a swim at Soi Sim beach or TiTov beach. In the evening, dinner will be served on boat, before settling into our comfortable cabins for the night. Stay overnight on board.

Day 8 Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi - Hue

Hạ Long 52Enjoy our last morning on board to admire the spectacular view of the bay. Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat, then cruise to pass so that tourists can have look Man’s head island, Tortoise island from the Junks. A brunch is served on board as we cruise slowly back to the harbor, where we will check out and drive back to Hanoi. Free at leisure until transfer you to Noi Bai Airport for evening flight to Hue. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 9 Hue City Tour

Huế-30We have whole day to visit one of World’s Heritage in Hue city – the former Kingdom of the 143 year Nguyen Dynasty. Have a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Royal Thien Mu pagoda and Minh Mang Mausoleum. In the afternoon, visit Imperial Citadel – the most important part of Hue city and Dong Ba market. Enjoy Hue’s folk songs in the evening. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 10 Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An

hue (2)Visit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh King’s Mausoleum in the morning. Then drive to Hoi An via the imposing Hai Van Mountain pass, a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. Stop over at Marble Mountains and Non Nuoc Beach in Danang City. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 11 My Son Sanctuary & Hoi An Ancient Town

d3db9e54-4768-4559-b3ba-586952fa747f_2In the morning, visit another World’s Heritage site in the South West of Danang, My Son Holly Land – the religious center of Powerful Champa Kingdom from 6th to 16th century, with relics of temples, steles and carving statues showing a thriving life of people here at once time. Afternoon, visit Hoi An ancient town – another World’s Heritage site of a forgotten sea port from the 17th century. Visit the Chinese temple, Japanese bridge, and an ancient house of mixing style from Vietnam, China and Japan. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 12 Hoi An - Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City

We visit the most typical places in the city: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, the City Hall, Reunification Palace, War Museum and Ben Thanh Market. Dinner on a floating restaurant cruising along Sai Gon river. Stay overnight in Hochiminh City.

Day 13 Cu Chi Underground Tunnel & China Town

cuchi-tunnelMorning we drive to suburb of HCMC, Cuchi District to visit Cuchi Underground Tunnel – a famous battle- field with over 200 km tunnel system under the ground, where Vietnamese guerillas had lived and fought during the American war. In the afternoon we take a short tour by cyclo to visit China town and Thien Hau Temple. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 14 Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long - Can Tho (Mekong Delta)

vinh-long-4Drive to the south of the town of Vinh Long, one of the 12 fertile provinces of the Mekong Delta. You take a boat trip on the mighty river to visit An Binh Island, a protected island in the river, some orchards and farm houses. During lunch you can listen to a show of typical music of the river dweller. Continue to Can Tho, the central city of Delta. Stay overnight in Can Tho.

Day 15 Can Tho - Rach Gia - Phu Quoc Island

Lively-atmosphere-of-Can-Tho-floating-marketHave a boat trip in early morning on Lower Branch of Mekong River to visit Cai Rang floating market – the biggest fruits and vegetable market in the Mekong Delta and enjoy life activities of local people on the river. Every morning, boats and sampans loaded with fruit and farm products weave in and out of each other in a commercial frenzy. Then transfer to Rach Gia to take the Superdong Speedboat (13:00 – 15:00) to Phu Quoc Island. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free at leisure. Stay overnight in Phu Quoc.
