Tour Itinerary

Day 1 YANGON ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR

Arrival Yangon by morning international flight upon arrival on your arrival time, your Myanmar representative & your English language guide will welcome and then transfer to the hotel. Then visit to down town an enchanting journey of the everyday life in Yangon, visit “Sule” Pagoda (window sightseeing), colonial style building, City Hall, “Botahtaung” Pagoda where Strand road, “Chaukhtatgyi” the colossal reclining Buddha Image, glittering stupas. As the evening approaches, we arrive at Myanmar’s holiest monument, the Shwedagon Pagoda over 2,600 years ago. Enjoy your sunset a towering stupa covered with 60 tons of pure gold leaf. Tour ends at 6 pm. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2 YANGON – BAGAN – TEMPLE SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast at your hotel and then transfer to Yangon Airport. Then fly to Bagan. Arrive Bagan, you will visit to full day tour with private car to some of magnificent stapes and temples of a bygone era of between 11th & 13th centuries selected out from over 2217 of them followed by a visit to a traditional lacquer ware workshop. Tour ends at 6 pm. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 3 BAGAN – MT. POPA – VILLAGE & TODDY PALM FARM VISIT ON THE WAY BAGAN – DINNER WITH PUPPET SHOW – MANDALAY

After breakfast, you will be taking a stroll through the lively Nyaung U Market with lots of fresh vegetables and local products. Then visit to the Mya Sadi, Gyu Byout Gyi and Manuhar Temples. Also visit the Myin-Kabar village to see the making of Myanmar traditional Lacquer-wares. Then go back to your hotel and rest for a while. After checking out from your hotel, you will be proceeding to Mount Popa for day trip (45 km – 1.5 h), an extinct volcano with spectacular views and the birth place of the Myanmar ‘nats’ or spirits. Its shrine is dedicated to animist spirits known as ‘nats’ and you will have time to climb the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the peak. Lunch at the restaurant with the view of Mt.Popa. After visit to the Mt. Popa, you will be going to Mandalay. You will have a dinner at the local restaurant on the way. Arrive Mandalay, you will check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 4 MANDALAY CITY TOUR – SUNSET AT MANDALAY HILL

After breakfast, Mandalay City tour starts with morning visit to Mahamuni Image. Wood carving & Bronze castling workshops. Cotton & silk weaving workshop and Tapestry making home cottage will be visited according to your choice. Marble carving workshop is also interesting to go. Gold-leaf Beating workshop is the place so unique that you can see in Mandalay and Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mandalay Hill watching the sunset of unforgettable scenery. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 5 MANDALAY – SAGAING – VISIT MINGUN BY BOAT – SUNSET AT U BEIN BRIDGE

After breakfast at you Mandalay Hotel, you will be picked up by your car at 9:00 Am and will visit to Sagaing: which is famous for the presence of many monasteries and pagodas. You will be visiting a monastery for the elm offering to the monks and then visit to the Pagoda at the top of the Sagaing mountain. Then, after lunch, you will be taken to the jetty for the private Boat trip to Mingun across the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. Sightseeing Mingun Bell. Patodawgyi Unfinished Pagoda and surrounding village. In the evening, you will be visiting to the famous U Bein Wooden Bridge: The bridge was built from wood reclaimed from the former Royal Palace in Inwa. It features 1,086 pillars that stretch out of the water: which is the favorite site for the photographers for the sunset. Tour ends at 6 pm). Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 6 MANDALAY – HEHO AND – NYAUNG SHWE – INLE LAKE

Early morning check out from Hotel and take the flight to Heho & welcome by the RMT guide and car drive to Nyaung Shwe. Check in to your Hotel. Start the day tour on the outrageously beautiful lake by private boat to see the (Nga Phe Kyaung) monastery, an ancient monastery famous for its Shan Buddha images, region’s most revered Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, traditional silk weaving looms at Inn Paw Khon village, Burmese cats at Inthar heritage restaurant, the silversmith workshop. The highlights of this boat tour also includes the unique lifestyle of Inn Thar people… the leg rowers, floating gardens, fishermen with strange fishing gears etc. Tour ends at 6 pm. Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 7 INLE LAKE – YANGON

In the morning, you will visit the lake market to explore daily life of local people and their traditional products. After that, you will go to the Indein Village (a small Pa O Tribe Village) through a narrow canal with beautiful natural landscape to see the Ancient Stupas which were donated by the Bagan King Alaung Si Thu (Grandson of King Kyan Sit Tha). The main stupa-area on the top of the hill offers breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains and down to the valley and the lake in the far distance. Then back to your hotel and check out from your hotel and transfer to Heho Airport. Then fly back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon, you will transfer to your hotel and relax. Overnight at Yangon.

Day 8 YANGON – HA NOI

Today, you will be relaxing and have shopping in famous Scott’s Market and some souvenir shops in Yangon. (If you are interested to have some clothing to make in a famous tailor shop you can do when you arrive in Yangon and collect today). You will also enjoy the Myanmar style tea shop and also Myanmar traditional food in Yangon or also enjoy the street food in China Town. In afternoon, you will check out from your hotel and transfer to Yangon International Airport for flight to Ha Noi. In Ha Noi, local guide and car will pick you up at the airport. Drive through the fertile Red River Delta to reach your hotel in Hanoi city. Free and stay overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 9 HA NOI – HA LONG BAY

Transfer group to Halong city to visit one of Wonder of the World: Ha Long Bay. 12:00 Get on a Junk cruise on  Ha Long Bay.  Boarding the Junk, a welcome drink is served before sitting down to a sumptuous seafood lunch in the dining room. We cruise through the magnificent bay of Ha Long that’s declared a World Heritage Site in 1994. Admiring over 2,000 islands that just out of the sea to provide a spectacular natural environment. There is opportunity to explore some of the beautiful and awesome grottoes with our guide on board. In the evening, dinner will be served on boat, before settling into our comfortable cabins for the night.

Day 10 HA LONG BAY – HA NOI

Enjoy our last morning on board to admire the spectacular view of the bay. A brunch is served on board as we cruise slowly back to the harbor, where we will check out and transferred Guide and bus will pick up group in the Ha Long Harbor. On the way drive back to Hanoi, we stop at Hai Duong town to visit a handicraft enterprise made by handicapped people. Arrive in Hanoi, City tour to Ngoc Son Temple, Restored Sword Lake. Enjoy water puppet show – the Vietnamese traditional art in the evening. Stay overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 11 HA NOI CITY TOUR – HUE

Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Quarter including the Mausoleum, House-on-stilts, Museum called by his name. Visit One-pillar Pagoda. Transfer to airport for flight to Hue city. Upon arrival, visit Khai Dinh Mausoleum, Dong Ba market. Enjoy Hue’s folk songs in the evening on a boat along Perfume River. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 12 HUE CITY TOUR – DA NANG – HOI AN

Boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Royal Thien Mu pagoda. Go to visit Imperial Citadel – the most important part of Hue city- The Relics of the Nguyen Dynasty in 19th century. This is one of the World heritage in Vietnam. Have lunch. Drive to Da Nang via the imposing Hai Van mountain pass, a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. Forward to Hoi An. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 13 HOI AN – DA NANG – HOCHIMINH CITY

Visit Hoi An Ancient town – another World’s Heritage site of a forgotten sea port from the 17th century. Visit the Chinese temple, Japanese bridge and an ancient house of mixing style from Vietnam, China and Japan. (Here you can buy some small ancient ceramic gifts as souvenir here with surprising price). Lunch. Drive to Da Nang airport for flight to Hochiminh city. Stay overnight in HCMC.

Day 14 HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA

Depart to Ben Tre province. Take a boat trip on Tien River. We are on the Mekong river, the biggest river in Indochine. On the way, sight-seeing a fish farms, then a floating fish market along the Dragon island. Through Xep Canal in Ben Tre province to see coconut collection set and how the locals make handicraft from coconut trunk and shell. Enjoy seasonal fruits and listening to traditional music of MIEN TAY people. Take the horse-cart on a village path and stop at Mr Nam Ngo orchard, taste honey with tea or wine. See bees-breeding in wooden boxes under longans tree. Take rowing-boat along water palm creek. Lunch on islet. Boat to see local people make coconut candy, taste candy (Special products of Ben Tre province).

 

Afternoon – back to Pier. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. Visit famous French buildings in the city center: City Hall, North Dame Cathedral, Post Office. Visit Ben Thanh market. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 15 HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE

Transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure.
