Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Hanoi – Arrival

83786144Welcome you at Noi Bai International Airport of Hanoi Capital. Drive through the fertile Red River Delta to reach your hotel in Hanoi city (no guide, only driver). Check-in hotel if room is available (Check-in time is 14:00. Check-out time is 12:00). Free at leisure. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2

vietnam-38131427-1483440330-ImageGalleryLightboxLarge_2Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Quarter including the Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday), House-on-stilts and One-pillar pagoda located in the area – one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam built in the 11th century. Visit Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) – the first university in Vietnam. View the Gothic style of Central Catholic Church and Hanoi Opera under shadow trees. Continue to picturesque West Lake and the sixth century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda. Visit the most interesting one from numerous museums in Hanoi – Museum of Ethnology.  Hop on a cyclo to petrol round the exciting Old Quarter of Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake – the heart of the city and Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy Water Puppet Show – Vietnamese traditional art evening. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3 Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau

In the afternoon, go trekking to visit a Thai minority village at Ban Lac to have more experiences on ethnic tribal life. Enjoy our dinner with Can wine (precious wine of the local people) and special traditional music and dancing show by White Thai people. Stay overnight in Mai Chau.

Day 4 Mai Chau – Ninh Binh

Ninh-Binh 2Morning, drive to Ninh Binh to visit unspoiled villages, immense rice fields in the center of the Red River Delta, visit Bich Dong temple and relics of Hoa Lu ancient Kingdom (Dinh dynasty in the 10th century). Get on a small boat to row along the small canal in the rice field to visit Tam Coc Caves considered as “Halong Bay on land”. Pick up by car to visit Kenh Ga. Get on a small boat to travel along Kenh Ga canal to enjoy the beautiful landscape surroundings, and visit fish floating village. Stay overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 5 Ninh Binh – Ha Long Bay

Hạ-Long-421Moring drive to Halong city to visit one of Wonder of the world: Ha Long Bay. At noon, get on a nice junk cruise to take a Ha Long Bay cruise over 2,000 islands that just out of the sea to provide a spectacular natural environment. We cruise through the magnificent bay of Ha Long to explore some of the beautiful and awesome grottoes. Visit Sung Sot cave and a swim at Soi Sim beach or TiTov beach. In the evening, dinner will be served on boat, before settling into our comfortable cabins for the night. Stay overnight on board.

Day 6 Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi – Hue

Hạ-Long-67a_2Enjoy our last morning on board to admire the spectacular view of the bay. Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat, then cruise to pass so that tourists can have look Man’s head island, Tortoise island from the Junks. A brunch is served on board as we cruise slowly back to the harbor, where we will check out and transfer back to Hanoi. Transfer to airport for flight to Hue. Local tour guide and private car pick you up at airport and transfer to your hotel. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 7 Hue City Tour

vorota_ngomon_hyuye_vetnam_2We have whole day to visit one of World’s Heritage in Hue city – the former Kingdom of the 143 year Nguyen Dynasty. Have a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Royal Thien Mu pagoda and Minh Mang Mausoleum. Afternoon, we visit Imperial Citadel – the most important part of Hue city and Dong Ba market. Enjoy Hue’s folk songs in the evening. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 8 Hue – Danang – Hoi An

Huế-27aVisit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh King’s Mausoleum in the morning. Then drive to Hoi An via the imposing Hai Van mountain pass, a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. Stop over at Marble Mountains and Non Nuoc Beach in Danang City. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9 Cooking Class Tra Que Vegetable Village Tour

Trà-Quế-128:00 A.M. Take a bike to the downtown, stop by Hoi An’s colorful central market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. So make sure your camera is handy. 10:00 bike to Tra Que vegetable village. Welcome drink for rest and walk through the vegetable gardens where local farmers work on their fields using the traditional methods of hundreds of years ago, no electrical machinery here. 11:00: Work together with the chef. Learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked. Afternoon, visit Hoi An ancient town – another World’s Heritage site of a forgotten sea port from the 17th century. Visit the Chinese temple, Japanese bridge, and an ancient house of mixing style from Vietnam, China and Japan. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10 Hoi An - Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City

nha tho_3Transfer you to Da Nang Airport for the morning flight to Hochiminh City. We visit the most typical places in the city: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, die City Hall, Reunification Palace, War Museum and Ben Thanh Market. Dinner on a floating restaurant cruising along Sai Gon river. Stay overnight in Hochiminh City.

Day 11 Can Gio & Vam Sat Ecological Tour

Can-Gio-Mangrove-Forest-1024x530_2Morning, local tour guide and private car pick you up at hotel and transfer to Can Gio, a World’s Biosphere reserving area in the East of Hochiminh City. After crossing Binh Khanh Ferry we indult ourselves in an evergreen atmosphere of Mangrove Forest, small rivers and canals full of water coconut trees. Once we reach Can Gio Tourist area we admire the cheerful Monkey flock living wildly in the area. We have chance to feed and play with them. Next we take a boat cruise in Mangrove Forest to see Can Gio former Military base. Stroll long Can Gio Beach and enjoy lunch at Carrot restaurant. Afternoon, we take an excursion to Vam Sat ecological area by speed boat. Enjoy funny Crocodile fishing, passing typical bridges and discover a small part of the mangrove forest on foot. Drive back to Hochiminh City. Stay overnight in Hochiminh City.

Day 12 Cu Chi Underground Tunnel & China Town

Cu Chi 3Morning we drive to suburb of HCMC, Cuchi District to visit Cuchi Underground Tunnel – a famous battle- field with over 200 km tunnel system under the ground, where Vietnamese guerillas had lived and fought during the American war. In the afternoon we take a short tour by cyclo to visit China Town and Thien Hau Temple. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 13 Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Lodge

mekong-resort-1Drive to the South of Hochiminh City to get to Cai Be harbor. Have a boat trip to the bustling Cai be floating market, then transferred to Mekong Lodge. Check-in bungalows and have lunch. Afternoon walking or biking visit to the homes factories of candy and handicraft near by the village & sightseeing the old house and sample various tropical fruits. Late afternoon participating in cooking class and diner with what you’ve cooked. Stay overnight at Mekong Lodge.

Day 14 Mekong Lodge – Cai Be – Can Tho

MK3Early morning take a boat trip to visit Cai Be floating market, walking or cycling around Mekong Lodge and the island, visit a fruit orchard, chatting and joining work with the host, freely picking and tasting mango, rambutan, longan… Lunch is served in the nice restaurant with the Vietnamese day-menu. Have a boat transfer to Cai Be harbor. Transfer to Can Tho. Check-in hotel. Stay overnight in Can Tho.

Day 15 Can Tho – Rach Gia – Phu Quoc Island

Lively-atmosphere-of-Can-Tho-floating-marketHave a boat trip in early morning on Lower Branch of Mekong River to visit Cai Rang floating market – the biggest fruits and vegetable market in the Mekong Delta and enjoy life activities of local people on the river. Every morning, boats and sampans loaded with fruit and farm products weave in and out of each other in a commercial frenzy. Then drive to Rach Gia Pier to take a speed boat Superdong III (13:00 – 15:20) to Phu Quoc. Transfer by car and driver only to resort for check-in. Free at leisure. Stay overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 16 Phu Quoc Island
