That is the lovely Nha Trang Beach, colorful Dalat City of Flower, and the fertile Mekong Delta. The trip starts from peaceful Hanoi and ends in vibrant Ho Chi Minh city.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 HANOI - ARRIVAL

Hà Nội 3Welcome at Noi Bai International Airport of Hanoi capital. Transfer to hotel in the downtown. Visit Sword Lake and Ngoc son Temple considered the heart of the city. Wellcome dinner with Vietnamese typical foods. Enjoy water puppet show – the Vietnamese famous traditional art in the evening. Night in Hanoi.

Day 2 HANOI CITY TOUR

Hà Nội 5The whole day we visit the peaceful capital decorated by tree lines along streets. Joint the stream of people to visit HoChiMinh Quarter includes Mausoleum (Closed on Monday), House-on-stilts where he lived and worked, Museum called by his name, One-pillar Pagoda. Visit Van Mieu (The Temple of Literature) – the first university of Vietnam. Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda and West Lake. View the Gothic style of Central Catholic Church and Hanoi Opera under shadow trees. The image of new and old buildings interposing with high shadow trees is a feature easiest to recognize in Hanoi and in many cities of Vietnam. Go round the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake on a cyclo like a Lord to view the most exciting part of Hanoi. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3 HANOI - HALONG BAY

halongMorning transfer to Halong (170 km) to board on a nice junk cruise to take a Ha Long Bay cruise over 2,000 islands that just out of the sea to provide a spectacular natural environment. Boarding the Junk, a welcome drink is served before sitting down to a sumptuous seafood lunch in the dining room. We cruise through the magnificent bay of Ha Long that’s declared a World Heritage Site in 1994. There is opportunity to explore some of the beautiful and awesome grottoes with our guide on board. In the evening, dinner will be served on boat, after which we can experiment with some night fishing, before settling into our comfortable cabins. Stay overnight on the magnificent Halong bay.

Day 4 HALONG BAY - HANOI - HUE

Hạ Long 50_2Enjoy our last morning on board of the junk cruise to admire the spectacular view of the bay.  Disembark the junk at 11:30 and drive back to Hanoi. On the way stop to visit Dong Trieu ceramic village before transfer to Noi Bai airport to take evening flight to Hue. Night in Hue.

Day 5 HUE - THE OLD CAPITAL

huế1_2Today we start to visit the Old Capital, one of heritage of the world by taking a boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda considered as Royal Pagoda of the Nguyen Dynasty. Then discover Imperial Citadel of Nguyen Dynasty. Afternoon visit Mausoleums of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh King. Visit Dong Ba Market. Evening enjoy Hue traditional music (Ca Hue) on a boat on Perfume river. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6 HUE - DA NANG - HOI AN

Hội An 1Drive to Hoi An via the imposing Hai Van mountain pass, a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. Stopover at Marble Mountains, Non Nuoc beach in Danang city. Visit Hoi An ancient Town- another World’s Heritage of a forgotten seaport from 17 th century well reserved until now. We visit a Chinese temple, Japanese bridge and an ancient house of mixing style from Vietnam, China and Japan. You can buy some small ancient ceramic gifts as souvenir here with surprising price. Night in Hoi An.

Day 7 HOI AN - DA NANG - NHA TRANG

bai-bien-nha-trang_3Drive to Danang to visit the Cham Museum. Transfer to Danang airport for a flight to Nha Trang beach city. Boat trip on Nha Trang blue sea to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium and a fishing village. Bathing or snorkeling at Hon Tam island. Watch the spectacular immense sea dotted here and there with big and small islands. Dinner and night in Nha Trang.

Day 8 NHA TRANG - DA LAT

Nha Trang 2AM: Relax or bathing at Nha Trang Beach. Visit Long Son Pagoda, Dam Market then drive to Dalat (170km) – a city of flower in the highland. Enjoy the fresh air that is cool all year round in this mountain city. Night in Dalat.

Day 9 DALAT CITY

thien-vien-dalatFull day visit Dalat misty city. Visit to Valley of Love, Dalat Flower Garden, King Bao Dai’s Palace and Dalat market. Visit Truc Lam Meditation Pogoda, Tuyen Lam Lake. Boat trip on Tuyen Lam Lake. (Optional: elephant riding up and down the hills or along the lake). Night in Dalat. (Evening option: Enjoy Cong-Chieng music & dance show of the minority people.)

Day 10 DA LAT - HO CHI MINH CITY

hcmc-city-hall_2Visit Dalat Market. Then drive to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). On the way we see Dambri imposing waterfall- one of the highest waterfall in the highland. Arrive in HCMC. We go around the city center to view some typical buildings with French constructive style: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, City Hall. Dinner on a floating restaurant which cruises along Sai Gon river. Night in HCMC.

Day 11 HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS

cuchi-tunnelWe visit the most typical places in the city Reunification (or called Independent) Palace, War Museum, China town, Thien Hau Temple. Visit Tay Son Lacquerware enterprise to see the artists producing their masterpieces. In the afternoon, drive to visit unbelievable Cu Chi Underground tunnel – The most famous battle field in Viet Nam war. Now it is a favourite tourist site with its 200 km – long tunnels and its’ brave guerrillas. These tunnels and underground villages were built to provide a safe haven for the people of Cu Chi in the war. Night in HCMC.

Day 12 HO CHI MINH CITY - MEKONG DELTA

ben-tre-2_2Drive to My Tho town of Tien Giang province, one of 12 fertile provinces of Mekong river delta. Boat trip on the great Mekong River to visit farmers’ houses and gardens on an well-off river islet. Enjoy fruits served by local people while listening to Tai Tu music – traditional music of the Mekong people. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Drive back and night in HCMC.

Day 13 HO CHI MINH CITY - DEPARTURE

  • 3% commission charge if paying by credit cards.

 

NOTE:

* The prices are based on twin-sharing room, any person who wants to stay in single room must pay single room surcharge as indicated in the tariff (except for group 1 person, single room charge already included).

* In Vietnam now, it is difficult to book rooms at 5 star hotels in the big cities. So if we do not book rooms long time in advance – around 6 months in advance, hotels often request an extra charge from the normal price (contracted price) before confirm our room-booking.

Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (GMT +7 – Hanoi time).
