With the limited time this tour gives you the chance to explore Hanoi peaceful capital and the most famous landscape of Vietnam in the Tonkin Gulf, that is Halong Bay, the land of descend Dragon. This trip can also be combined with our Southern tour SS01 to form a beautiful itinerary from North to South.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 HANOI - ARRIVAL

Water Puppets 2Welcome at Noi Bai International Airport of Hanoi capital. Transfer to hotel in the downtown. Visit Sword Lake and Ngoc son Temple considered the heart of the city. Wellcome dinner with Vietnamese typical foods. Enjoy water puppet show – the Vietnamese famous traditional art in the evening. Night in Hanoi.

Day 2 HANOI CITY TOUR

Hà Nội 4The whole day we visit the peaceful capital decorated by tree lines along streets. Joint the stream of people to visit HoChiMinh Quarter includes Mausoleum (Closed on Monday and Friday of every week, and closed from 1.Oct to 05.Dec of every year), House-on-stilts where he lived and worked, Museum called by his name, One-pillar Pagoda. Visit Van Mieu (The Temple of Literature) – the first university of Vietnam. Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda and West Lake. View the Gothic style of Central Catholic Church and Hanoi Opera under shadow trees. The image of new and old buildings interposing with high shadow trees is a feature easiest to recognize in Hanoi and in many cities of Vietnam. Go round the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake on a cyclo like a Lord to view the most exciting part of Hanoi. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3 HANOI - HALONG BAY

Hạ Long 36_2Morning transfer to Halong (170 km) to board on a nice junk cruise to take a Ha Long Bay cruise over 2,000 islands that just out of the sea to provide a spectacular natural environment. Boarding the Junk, a welcome drink is served before sitting down to a sumptuous seafood lunch in the dining room. We cruise through the magnificent bay of Ha Long that’s declared a World Heritage Site in 1994. There is opportunity to explore some of the beautiful and awesome grottoes with our guide on board. In the evening, dinner will be served on boat, after which we can experiment with some night fishing, before settling into our comfortable cabins. Stay overnight on the magnificent Halong bay.

Day 4 HALONG BAY - HANOI – DEPARTURE

Dong-Trieu-Ceramic-and-Pottery-VillageEnjoy our last morning on board of the junk cruise to admire the spectacular view of the bay. Disembark the junk at 11:30 and drive back to Hanoi. On the way stop to visit Dong Trieu ceramic village before transfer to Noi Bai airport to take evening flight to another destination.

NOTE:

* The prices are based on twin-sharing room, any person who wants to stay in single room must pay single room surcharge as indicated in the tariff (except for group 1 person, single room charge already included).

* In Vietnam now, it is difficult to book rooms at 5 star hotels in the big cities. So if we do not book rooms long time in advance – around 6 months in advance, hotels often request an extra charge from the normal price (contracted price) before confirm our room-booking.

Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (GMT +7 – Hanoi time).
