Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Chau Doc – Phnom Penh

Take a speed boat to Phnom Penh. Arrive at boat pier in Phnom Penh meet up with your guide and transfer to Hotel for check in. Visit to Monument Victory, National Museum, Royal Palace Compound or Silver Pagoda, The Notorious Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 2 Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

After breakfast, drive to Siem Reap by overland and have chance to see the countryside. Arrive Siem Reap at noon and go straight to a local restaurant for lunch where you will meet your Tour Guide. After lunch, transfer to the hotel for check in. PM: Watch the sunset over Angkor Wat from Phnom Bakheng hill. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3 Siem Reap

Morning we visit the complex of Angkor Thom including the sites Bayon, Elephants and Lépreux King Terrace, Tep Pranam, Prah Palilay, Phimeanakas, Baphuon. The afternoon we visit the beautiful Ta Prohm temple which is embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees then the rest time is reserved for exploring the Angkor Wat temple. Drive to Bakheng Mountain to admire the stunning sunset behind the temples of Angkor Wat. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 4 Siem Reap

Morning we visit Banteay Srei, the exquisite ‘Women’s Citadel’. Located 32 km from Siem Reap town, this was Cambodia’s last major Khmer temple to be re-discovered. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon we visit Roluos Group. The monuments of Roluos, which served as the capital of Indravaraman I (reigned 877-89), are among the earliest large, permanent temples built by the Khmer classical art. Preah Ko, erected by Indavaraman I in the late 9th century and dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880- Bakhong, the largest and the most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance Lolei, the four brick towers are replicas of the ones at Preah Kho, built on an islet in the center of large reservoir by Yasovarman I the founder of the first city of Angkor. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 5 Siem Reap - Departure

Afternoon we excursion to visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap.  Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the “village” move from place to place following water levels and current. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit Les Artisans D’ Angkor and see their stone and wood carving workshops where the artisans are taught to use traditional Khmer techniques. Next, visit the Old Market where you can see the fresh local product being sold and browse the souvenir stalls. Then transfer to airport for evening flight.
